Thoughts and reflections from Fr. Dave
Thank you to all veterans in serving our country. Without you and your service, this country would not be as great as it is. Let us always pray for our veterans for their service, but for current military personnel stationed within..and outside..our borders. You are in our thoughts, prayers, and Masses always.
Sunday Mass was the celebration of All Saints Day, moved to the following Sunday. The altar at Christ the King OCC was covered with Relics of the Church in her saints and martyrs, reminding us of their example in following Christ. The saints present include but are not limited to the 12 Apostles (the big round one), Saints Peter, Paul & Andrew the First Called (the angular suspended reliquary), St. Francis Xavier, Saints Francis & Clare, St. Mary Magdalen, St. John the Baptist, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, and St. Blase. "God our creator, the work of your hands is manifest in your saints, the beauty of your truth is reflected in their faith. Pray for us. Amen."
